What is a Make-up Token at KCS

Every swimmer in a low ratio class is entitled to one make up token a month for a total of 12 months if they swim year-round. With traditional swimming lessons, if your child is sick or has another commitment, they will not be able to make up the lesson they have missed. Makeup tokens provide you and your family more flexibility to say yes to life events while not missing out on time to learn.

While make-up tokens are automatically issued to your account when your child misses a class regardless of whether or not you’ve let us know that you’ll be away, we encourage parents to mark their child as absent on the parent portal as far ahead as possible. What this does is make space in your class for another child to use their makeup token and get an extra lesson in the class where your child will be absent.
